It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

The chances of a white Christmas in Southwest Florida are quite low - but that's why it's important for us locals to celebrate in our own, and sometimes very unique, ways. For those snowbirds who choose to spend the holidays in our tropical paradise, or for the locals who are looking to branch out for some new things to do, we've compiled a list of activities to get you in the Christmas spirit.

December 4th, 2021 from 4:00PM - 10:00PM

If you're looking for a family-friendly Christmas celebration in Cape Coral, come to this year's tree lighting ceremony. Downtown Cape Coral Parkway will be closed off to make room for plenty of food, local business and craft vendors.

For the kids, there will be a bouncy house and a slide, as well as the opportunity for many to see snow for the first time! A big pile of snow will be formed into two slides for kids to sled down.

Shortly after it gets dark, the Christmas tree will be lit. Santa arrives afterwards, sometimes on a horse-drawn carriage, to hear Christmas wishes and pose for photos.
